One thing that is rare to see, when Halloween rolls around father and son costume "matching" is - to be more precise, a father and son, dressed in costume from the comic itself - as "Curious George".
For the curious, I would draw you a picture:
The father, dressed as a man with the yellow hat and a child dressed as Curious George. Usually the child to be from the younger - probably at the age of 5:56. The father must be youngHeart (and very patient) to qualify for this role! Fathers and sons are the feasts of the district, a collection of pumpkin, try mall events, or maybe even a costume contest.
Are you a parent looking for a new and fun way to connect to your child this Halloween may be useful to think of it dressed as George and the man with the yellow hat. Imagine and acting out of character should not be difficult for the Curious if the father to consider may be the odd kid.Let me know - I must be!
That said, when I heard about this idea, I thought it was absolutely adorable. If you or your child (or both) as the book (or movie), you'll love this couple costume idea. I wonder what seemed Margret Rey and HA Rey, the creators of "Curious George", you might think, if it is based around parents and children in costume for this story? I would think at least that would be flattered.
